Three types of Ketone Substances In a Nutshell: Do you know the difference between 1-3 Butanediol, a Ketone Ester and D Ketone Salts?

Ketone IQ Review 1 3 butanediol

Ketone IQ Review, Delta G, Real Ketones Elevate and Vault 3 Ketones Compared: 1 3 Butanediol, Salts & Esters

When there are so many ketone supplements around, how can you identify the healthy and effective ones verse the unhealthy and ineffective ones?  It is important to know the differences between them as well as the positives and negatives. I recently co-hosted a podcast with Bonnie on the Power of Perseverance in which we discuss the main ketone substances. delta g ketone review

Here we have the DELTA G KETONE ESTER: a potent exogenous ketone that works quickly to effectively elevate ketone levels by being processed through the liver.

Positives: Works quickly & achieves high levels of blood ketones.

Negatives: Causes an insulin spike which results in an energy crash and a lowering of blood ketone levels. Tastes horrible. Excessive consumption could cause GI distress.

Uses: Athletic performance.

Not ideal for therapeutic ketosis due to spiking insulin levels.

ketone iq butanediol review

Here is the ever popular HVMN KETONE IQ: a less expensive exogenous ketone that elevates ketone levels by being processed through the liver.

However 1 3 Butanediol is the main ingredient which is an alcohol and has been shown to cause intoxication, lack of coordination and illness in athletes.

Positives: Increases blood ketone levels in 30 minutes.

Negatives: Contains alcohol. Tastes horrible. Excessive consumption could cause GI distress and intoxication!

Uses: Due to the alcohol content we are not sure how this cold optimise physical and mental performance.

Real Ketones Lemon Elevate bhb salts ukHere we have the REAL KETONES D-BHB SALTS, a more affordable exogenous ketone salt bound with minerals and mct powder that elevates ketone levels by directly entering the blood stream.

Positives: Increases blood ketone levels in 30 minutes and gives long lasting, sustained energy. Does not spike insulin levels (unlike an ester) and does NOT contain the alcohol 1 3 Butanediol. The minerals and electrolytes replenish your essential electrolyte levels and support hydration.

Negatives: Excessive consumption could cause GI distress.

Uses: Anyone looking to optimise their athletic or mental performance. Can help to alleviate symptoms of chronic inflammation and disease.

And finally we have the VAULT D-BHB ACID, the first ready mixed exogenous ketone acid drink that contains no caffeine and no artificial sweeteners. Vault is bound with minerals, L-Carnitine and coffee fruit extract, that elevates ketone levels by directly entering the blood stream.

Currently only available in the US. We will keep you posted!

Uses: Anyone looking to optimise their athletic or mental performance. Can help to alleviate symptoms of chronic inflammation and disease. An amazing afternoon pick me up!
